Light In Our Mind

What happens if you notice that there is “light in your mind”? If we meditate on light and happiness, if that is our focus for many years, then it seems more likely that there would be some effect.

Apparently, there are many attributes of the “flow of awareness” that we can notice and eventually integrate into our lives, as we meditate deeper.

When we touch into the higher spheres and feel the bright and rich textures, it is exciting to the mind and motivates us to balance out the various aspects of our lives more, so that we are able to go deeper in our meditations, and our adventure is ever new and fun.

Virtual Meditation: Transforming Our Dimensional “Shape”

Please join Jeff for a FREE Virtual Meditation and Discussion on “Transforming Our Dimensional ‘Shape'” on Tuesday evening, August 18th, at 7:00 PM PDT/10:00 PM EDT.

Apparently, one way to describe ourselves is as multi-dimensional beings defined in some manner by our access to various “perceptual nodal points” [Note: “perceptual nodal points” is a concept introduced in “Snowboarding to Nirvana” by Rama (Dr. Frederick Lenz)].

I thought it would be fun and instructive to experience what is shown to us all about safely “stretching our shape” a bit and thus changing our perception to an extent, at least for the hour period of the class. As we are drawn deeper into inner reality and access the imbedded knowledge there, we can become progressively more fluid and integrated, which opens up many possibilities for further fun adventures.  It may be simply a matter of passion and choice on how we act when more positive power and clarity flows through us.

Of course, we will continue to go deeper into the inner layers of reality via progressively feeling more “stillness”.  I feel, in the stillness, there is vast potentiality and thus it is extremely “active and real”.  We sort of “melt away” a bit and that feels quite buoyant and fresh in a protected way.

Also, there will be two meditation sessions with music played by Zazen.  The class will be participatory and experiential and geared toward supporting participants in feeling a more richly textured dimensionality.

Virtual Meditation: A “Respite” Class

Please join Jeff for a FREE Virtual Meditation and Discussion that is essentially “A ‘Respite’ Class” on Tuesday evening, June 23rd, at 7:00 PM PDT/10:00 PM EDT.

Thank goodness that you will not have to hear me talk very much in this “respite” class.  We will have plenty of meditation time and I would like to hear from each participant about anything they wish to express about their practice and discoveries or any questions they may have.

We will also take advantage of the Summer Solstice period.

Virtual Meditation: Recognizing Openings In The “Hidden”

Marcus_Landslide_Img_1_041220

Please join Jeff for a FREE Virtual Meditation and Discussion on “Recognizing Openings In The ‘Hidden’ ” on Tuesday evening, May 19th, at 7:00 PM PDT/10:00 PM EDT.

“Seize the moment”!  Apparently, there are many opportunities and potential discoveries available to each of us every day and staying nimble enough (mindful) and aware of various types of “openings” can be a powerful step in that direction.

Maybe you remember seeing a house in a familiar landscape that appears much different and more unknown to you now, because you sense more of the essence of where this scenery was projected.  It may be just a momentary recognition but if we work on sustaining these views and feeling more of its nature, this will bode well for us getting more adept with “flowing with awareness”.

I have a particular role that I play in the class, which helps facilitate a type of “shaped” energy impacting each participant in the class, in order to draw us deeper into reality, and is something I personally look forward to engage with.  We sort of “melt away” a bit and that feels quite buoyant and fresh in a protected way.  Together, our possible role in the class is to stay centered and calm, make ourselves available to “power”, contribute to the discussion period and to have as much fun as possible.

Virtual Meditation: Stalking Ourselves

Joshua_Tree_Hidden_Valley_013120

Please join Jeff for a FREE Virtual Meditation and Discussion on “Stalking Ourselves” on Tuesday evening, April 21st, at 7:00 PM PST/10:00 PM EST.

In my view, one aspect of the practice of “stalking”, which I first became aware of from the Carlos Castaneda books, has to do with stabilizing the “position of the assemblage point”, a recognizable particular focus of perception.  Thus, perception will change for us according to “shifts” in the point of assemblage.

We will discuss how to utilize “stalking”, such as becoming a “mystery to ourselves”, which can free up a lot of energy and be an important driver in going beyond descriptions, stopping the internal dialogue and realizing more that “we are nothing in particular”, as Dr. Frederick Lenz (Rama) has mentioned.

I have a particular role that I play in the class, which helps facilitate a type of “shaped” energy (that has a noticeable “whirl” to it) impacting each participant in the class, in order to draw us deeper into reality, and is something I personally look forward to engage with.  Together, our possible role in the class is to stay centered and calm, make ourselves available to “power”, contribute to the discussion period and to have as much fun as possible.
